Don't know anybody else- two year vacation
I have chosen to film my music video to the song 'Don't know anybody else' by two year vacation. I have chosen this song because i believe it will be a perfect fit for the target demographic given in the brief of 16-25 year olds. I also think it would be the perfect song for a video containing two social groups with a narrative of coming together at the end. The alternative nature of the band links perfectly with my company, impala and really displays what I believe a company like this would distribute both visually and musically. In addition to this the alternative sound is also very popular with teens and people in their 20s at the moment, as it promotes a uniqueness from society and other typical music tastes. I think I would need to capture this in the video by using a VHS filter- a popular trend with teens at the moment especially on social medias like tiktok.

Personal reflection
Personal reflection In my music video, FWA boss by SL. I did really well on the editing aspects: transitions, shot speeds and lip-syncing. This took a lot of time editing in Imovie . Putting slow- mo on the establishing shots and tediously trying to match sound with the movement of my lips and points of transition. Furthermore, I believe the mise-en-scene in the first 30 seconds of my video really fit the codes and conventions of a typical drill video . I achieved this by meticulously planning what to shoot at night and getting the perfect camera movement and angles for that. However, after this the video lost its dark and grungy edge as I was in a bright, sunny, school setting for a majority of my lip syncing . Furthermore, I think my quality of planning on my story board helped me achieve the movement, transitions and angles I wanted. This ...
